Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

EOP is a New York State-sponsored program for New York State residents who are both educationally and economically disadvantaged. Eligibility for the EOP program is determined by the University’s Office of Admissions at the time of a student’s admission to UB.

Only students initially accepted into the Educational Opportunity Program are eligible to receive EOP funds. EOP students are provided supplemental funds towards educational expenses upon completion of the FAFSA (new students) or the Federal Renewal Application (continuing students).
