Summer Sessions Registration Terms
Each UB Summer Sessions course has a specific “last day to” date. It is important to understand what those dates mean to you financially and academically.
Last Day to Add
After this date, you cannot enroll in a course. If you do attend the course, even with the instructor’s permission, you cannot receive a grade for it.
Last Day to Drop
After this date, you are 100% responsible for all tuition and fees associated with the course, even if you never attended a single class. You can still remove any academic liability by resigning the course (with a grade of “R”) via BIRD or Web Registration.
Last Day to Resign
After this date, you are not only responsible for the tuition and fees for the course (see above), but you will also receive a grade from the instructor, even if you never attended a single session. The grade, usually an “F,” will remain a permanent entry on your UB transcript.
